My first roll of black and white. As a photographer of Jamaican descent I have a strong love for bright colors. I’m honestly not a big fan of black and white but found this to be a good exercise and there is something about the “texture” of the images. Plus I had to show Fuji some love for bringing back a second version of this iconic film.
This roll started with more skiing in the Sandias. The old school lifts, abandoned towers, and moody lingering storm really seems to work well with the black and white.
Into the midst.
The Sandia Ski area finally got enough snow to open the weekend after this storm! But regardless, it’s been lackluster winter across the mountain west in general this year.
Stay frosty.
A few days later there was less snow and more bikes!
Beer run. The Voile bike rack strap has really turned by bike into a do it all hauler!
Char on our way to the climbing gym. It’s been great to have Stoneage just a short ride away for pulling plastic. I can’t help but to miss the colorful background of this location that lost in B&W.
This cute cat even stopped by to say hi!
From there it was off to the (other) desert to work on a Salsa Cycles project with Adam and Jalen

Riders for the shoot were the supremely talented ladies Krystal and Brooke!
It was great to spend some time with Krystal again, her positive energy is infectious!
It was a blast to get to know Brooke! This last shot on the roll might be my favorite!
