The Film Files: Vol.8
Volume 8
Filmstock: Fuji Superia 400
Camera: Canon A2e
Lens: Canon 50mm 1.8
One of the rolls from a Superia 3-pack I found at Wal-Mart. Fuji film has been much harder to find than Kodak for me but I think the cooler tones are much more suited to winter. Not a huge fan of the grain on this film but love the colors and clean white it achieve opposed to tendency to lean into a warmer/yellow look.
I love the way the morning light slips into the house. Fuji the cat ready for another workday.
Fat Tire sent a huge shipment of beer! Life goal completed and think there’s enough to power a cocktail hour at my planned wedding this summer.
King of the castle.
I finally made my way up to Santa Fe to check out their trails! I was so lucky to have John from the Radavist as my tour guide for the trails and town!
Chasing John uphill. Not a bad shot for trying to ride and shoot!
The easy route was wasn’t that easy.
Santa Fe vibes.
John was having some Sram AXS issues, so we headed back to town and stopped by the local shop, Sincere Cycles.
John in front of the shop! It was so cool to meet the owner and check out some of the great stuff in stock.
From there I spent a day shooting with Talweg Creative then headed up to Wolf Creek Pass to chase an incoming snowstorm.
Storm on the horizon. Alamosa, CO.
It was great to catch up with the Road West Traveled crew and celebrate Laura’s birthday with some pow and puppies!
Buckman!
Pupper patrol.
Summit the Sam. The Fuji film seemed perfect for this shot!
The storm took awhile to arrive, but when it did we were greeted with a foot of fresh for laps off the pass.
Uphill athletes or skittles?
Similar image but I think I like the depth the tree frame gives.
Trenchtown rock!
Thanks for stopping by. Until Next time cheers!
Sleeper self-portrait?
